When this item is installed on a 12V battery in good condition and fully charged to around 12.5-13V and not less that 11.8V

This is what takes place when a vehicle is left standing. The battery naturally slowly starts to run itself down and when it reaches 11.8V our battery saver will instantly cut off all power to the vehicle so as to save a minimum cranking charge that will allow you to restart your vehicle

When you return to the vehicle and find you are not able to open the central locking door or start the vehicle you simply press the hidden micro switch which reopens the power from the battery and you can then start your vehicle.
